Say hello to Morgan Beatton, our newest product stylist and photographer. She’s only been here for two months, and she’s already hard at work helping crank out beautiful set ups for our next catalog and contributing ideas for our showroom designs.

“On any given day, you can find me either creating mood boards for upcoming photoshoots, styling and shooting new samples, and/or reshooting older products to give them a different look,” Morgan said. “I am always on the lookout for good light, and strive to create achievable looks that show off the diversity of the products we carry.”

Her hope is to create beautiful, consistent images that inspire Accent Decor customers and with the work she’s been doing in her first couple of months here, we feel she’s been a great success.

Before Accent Decor, Morgan owned her own photography business and photographed everything from weddings to products for small businesses.

“The styling part came later,” Morgan said. “I was really just doing that in my own home and playing around in the smaller product shoots. It’s been really fun to use styling and photography together in my role here. I get to work on an amazing team to create beautiful imagery of the incredible products we have.”

For inspiration, she has multiple sources of inspiration. From Pinterest and magazines to storefronts and light, she’s constantly drinking in design and beauty from everything around her.

Lately, she’s loving bright whites and charcoal blacks that have been trending in design, as well as marble, small touches of blush pink, and house plants.

“I love making a good mood board, and I redecorate my home at least three times a month to inspire me on the daily.”

In fact, Morgan’s been bringing Accent Decor into her own home. Her current favorites are the Dim Pot and Renew Vase.

“But my favorites have been changing quite a lot,” Morgan says. “I have a long list, especially with the new upcoming line!”As our new product stylist, Morgan will be one of the judges for our upcoming instagram challenge.
