Accent Decor Behind the Scenes: Pride for Parents

It’s easy to get caught up in all the last minute tasks and projects before the year comes to a close, so at Accent Decor, we try to make a point to remind ourselves that one of our priorities is to always give back and reach out to the needs of our community.

We truly believe there’s always enough time to put business aside and focus on giving back to the community we’re apart of.

For the past four years, employees at Accent Decor have generously donated gifts and their time to Pride for Parents, a community Christmas store that allows parents the dignity to provide gifts for their children.

Started by FCS, this program not only helps parents provide for their families, but also assists in providing jobs for South Atlanta residents.

This year, Accent Decor set up two Christmas trees with handwritten tags showing gifts that children in South Atlanta are wishing to receive this year.

In addition to providing gifts for the store, a few of our employees headed over to the shop at the Carver Neighborhood Market to bring donations and assist in sorting and pricing toys.

We’re so honored to have a helping hand with Pride for Parents during the holidays, and from the bottom of our hearts, we wish you all a safe and joyful holiday with your family and friends.

Our office will be closed December 24 and 25 this week, but it’ll be back to business for us on Monday, December 28. Until then, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
