4 Intimate Wedding Styles with EMC

We were honored to be one of the sponsors of the EMC+ Intimate to Ultimate workshop in August. Led by Hitomi Gilliam AIFD and Tomas De Bruyne, EMC hosted this specialized workshop to provide a complete experience for planning, prepping, and executing large scale, luxury floral design for high-end weddings.

Over the course of three days, students had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience as they learned new floral design techniques.

Here’s some highlights from day 1 of the Intimate to Ultimate Workshop in Atlanta!

Intimate Settings at the Georgian Terrace Hotel, Atlanta

Students were asked to create four intimate looks inspired by mood boards and specific locations in the hotel. From learning bouquet holder mechanics and armature construction to receiving first hand experience in styling a photo shoot, the students had a fulfilling first day.

Look 1: Neo Moderne – featuring our Amaryllis Vases.

Look 2: Classic Romance – featuring our Nikki Candelabra, Etude Vases, and Blush Votives.

Look 3: Urban Organics -featuring our Etude Vases.

Look 4: Tropical Romance – featuring our Moretti Candelabra and Rota Vases

Next week, we’ll share our favorite displays from Day Two, where the students moved from intimate arrangements to ultimate displays of grandeur.
