Get to Know the Team: Macy

ROLE AT ACCENT DECOR: Norcross Showroom Manager. I have the pleasure of creating an enjoyable experience for our friends and customers when they visit our Norcross showroom. I’m here to assist with whatever they may need – from helping find that perfect modern-style compote to answering any questions they may have. I also get to team up with our Creative Team who do an incredible job keeping our showrooms and products updated. I assist with conservation, ensuring that it is always presentable and easy for our customers to shop so that they are inspired with every visit – which is what our showrooms are known for!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PART OF THE ACCENT DECOR TEAM?: I have been a part of the Accent Decor family for six months now.

WHERE DO YOU LOOK FOR INSPIRATION?: I can find inspiration in anything…nature, books, music, people, and now (thanks to Maddie) PINTEREST. I’m addicted.

WHERE IS YOUR DREAM VACATION DESTINATION?: This is one of the harder questions to ask me…it will change quite often, but AT THIS MOMENT, I wouldn’t mind touring Istanbul with a cup of strong Turkish coffee and a burek pastry.

WHAT ARE YOUR TOP THREE FAVORITE ACCENT DECOR PRODUCTS?: I love the Infuse and Nalia collections. They’re versatile with a great texture and my mind races with all the projects I can do with them. I am also crazy about the exotic Kallista pots!

DO YOU HAVE ANY HIDDEN TALENTS?: Something most people don’t know is that I’m a violinist. I’ve played violin and strings for well over ten years.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WHAT YOU DO?: I love my job, but I especially love working with everyone - from our talented, visionary customers to our dedicated and creative staff.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DESIGN TREND RIGHT NOW?: My favorite design trend now is the clean, white Parisian look with a pop of color.

Thank you, Macy, for sharing with us!

Macy is such a fun and cheerful part of our Accent Decor family. If you are ever in the Norcross showroom, make sure to say hello!
