Summer shows and awards

We are wrapping things up in Atlanta today and will be working on getting the Vegas showroom all ready for the next Market, coming up July 29-August 2, 2013. Even if you already visited our showroom during the Passion event, be sure to stop by anyways because we are re-doing and reworking things to make it new and exciting all over again. Our line will be accented with fantastic floral work, loaded with Green Valley’s David Austin roses and more! Drop by and be inspired by Gerry Toh and Donald Yim’s wonderful creations while viewing our new Winter 2013 line.

While we were in Vegas for the AIFD Passion Event, we were honored to be recognized and awarded for contributions to the floral industry. We wanted to take a minute and thank each and every member of our team, as well as all the florists and customers and designers and friends who make what we do possible. Thank you!

Accent Décor Recognized for Contributions to Floral Industry

BALTIMORE (July 2013) – Accent Décor has been recognized by the American Institute of Floral Designers’ (AIFD) National Board of Directors with the Award of Merit-Industry. The announcement was made on June 30 during the Institute’s 2013 Awards Ceremony held in conjunction with its 2013 National Symposium “Passion” in Las Vegas, Nev.

This is an award that is presented to professionals in the floral industry who are not a member of AIFD, but who are serving a crucial role in advancing the industry. Accent Décor was honored for their undeniable support of AIFD symposium and regional events and promotion of AIFD members.

Each year, AIFD hosts its National Symposium in a different host city. The Symposium is an opportunity for internationally acclaimed designers to gather together to share ideas, educational tips, network and advance the industry of floral design. The 2014 National Symposium “Transition Transformation” will be held in Chicago, Ill. July 3-7.
