On the Home Front: Inspiration

Ok so I know that many of our customers are florists and event planners, and that’s usually where I gear the inspiration I find online towards. However, we also have customers who are in the home design and decor business – and I certainly dont want to leave them feeling uninspired. So today, here’s a few of my recent favorite finds from the home design world.

First of all, if you haven’t checked it out yet, you most definitely need to go peruse the pages of the NEW design magazine: Rue. It’s an online magazine that is chock-full of some of the most beautiful images I’ve seen in a long time. One of my favorite things EVER is to look through beautiful magazines, and I’ve been sorely missing my two favorites (Cottage Living and Domino) since they went out of print. I’m going to start a campaign to bring back Cottage Living — I miss that magazine!

Gray inspiration from Layla Grace
From House Beautiful
This one is from another one of my all-time favorite e-mags, Lonny.

More from Lonny. Visit their website (and new blog) for loads of inspiration. I love their feminine, elegant take on modern.
From Plush Palate. I just adore the juxtaposition of rustic and modern here. Beautiful.

*My husband and I just bought a fixer-upper house . . . so I’m slightly obsessed with home design blogs and inspiration right now. Where should I be looking for awesome design inspiration? Here are a few pictures I’ve loved and saved so far.

I LOVED Cottage Living, too!! I find Elle Decor and House Beautiful can be subs when needing a fix, but I'm glad to learn about Lonny and RUE! Thanks for the info!
